Common questions
What counts as an AI note credit?
One credit is consumed each time After processes a session and generates a clinical note (SOAP, DAP, or BIRP). If the pipeline fails, the credit is automatically refunded.
What is a portal assignment?
A portal assignment is a structured homework or check-in form sent to a client through their private, token-gated portal link. Each time you post an assignment to a client's portal it consumes one assignment post from your monthly allowance.
What are active portal links?
Each client can have one persistent portal link. The active portal links limit is the maximum number of client portals you can keep open at once. You can deactivate old links and open new ones any time.
What is an AI assignment regeneration?
After can suggest assignment questions based on the session transcript. Each time you ask it to regenerate those suggestions it costs one regen from your monthly allowance.
Can I buy extra credits mid-cycle?
Yes — from your billing dashboard you can purchase one-time credit packs: 20 AI notes for $12, 50 AI notes for $25, or 100 portal assignments for $5. Extra credits roll over until used.
Is my session audio stored on your servers?
Audio is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it leaves your device and stored in a HIPAA-compliant Supabase bucket. No third-party AI service ever receives raw audio — only the transcribed text is sent for note generation.
Who processes my payment?
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and tax compliance on our behalf. You can manage your subscription at any time from the billing dashboard.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel at any time from the billing dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the paid billing period and you will not be charged again.
