Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time.

What data we hold

Depending on how you have used After, we may hold the following categories of personal data associated with your account:

  • Name and email address
  • Professional credentials and practice information
  • Billing and payment records
  • Session audio recordings and AI-generated transcripts and notes
  • Platform usage and analytics data
  • Authentication tokens and session logs

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your data by either of the following methods:

Option 1 — Delete from your account

If you have an active After account, sign in at getafter.cc/sign-in and navigate to Settings → Account → Delete account. This will immediately schedule deletion of all your personal data and clinical content.

Option 2 — Email request

Send an email to privacy@getafter.cc with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • The email address associated with your After account
  • A brief description of the data you want deleted (or "all data")

What happens next

  • We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days.
  • Deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by applicable law (e.g., billing records retained for tax purposes for up to 7 years).
  • Encrypted backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle. Your data will be excluded from any restore operations immediately upon deletion.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Data collected via Meta (Facebook Login / Pixel)

If you interacted with After through a Meta platform (e.g., clicked an ad or used Facebook Login), Meta may have shared limited data with us such as your name and email address.

To remove this data from After, follow either option above and specify "Meta-linked account data" in your request.

To also remove data Meta holds about your interactions with After's ads, visit your Meta Privacy Center or use the Off-Facebook Activity tool.
